St George
Our work with Stefanie Martin-Halls and the other nurses at Park over the last 2 years has played a major part in raising health awareness amongst our workforce on site. Each month our nurse runs different health focus, the workshops are on point and the information shared is eye-opening for the guys. Focus topics range from work-related health issues such as respiratory health to personal health issues such as dental hygiene. The focus visits vary but usually entail an engaging workshop.
Really professional service. It is much more in-depth about an individual’s health with the list of the possibilities and outcomes based on the sugar and cholesterol levels being provided. Being given the actual percentage of the risks is helping as well to compare with the last tests from 2015. The life expectation statement and lifestyle advice to prolong and improve your health is very helpful as well. Keep it up.

At the workshops, the nurse delivers information on topics, engages conversations and sharing of stories or past experiences. What we appreciate the most and what sets Park‘s service miles ahead of previous providers, is the positive relationship the nurse has built with our workforce. Each time the nurse visits site she does a site walk to meet the lads and book mini health checks. The nurse is very friendly and highly knowledgeable. Our workforce know her by name and as one of the team and actively approach her with health queries or for the mini health checks.

Thanks again for such a brilliant series of respiratory health workshops today – it is really appreciated by both myself and the St George project team. We managed to reach 106 people in total – around a third of our workforce so definitely enough to positively impact safety behaviours here at Dickens Yard.
The feedback has been great; ‘engaging, informative and fun’. The attendees really liked your delivery style and the lungs had such a positive effect – I have had a few people who have told me they are seriously thinking about reducing the amount they smoke and one has even said he wants to completely kick the habit as a result of the workshop. What more could we ask for!
It has also fuelled the curiosity around targeted prevention in the workplace and created a strong basis for the respiratory protective equipment (RPE) workshops that I have booked in next. We will definitely be looking to book this again in line with our churn stats and I will be in touch to schedule in workshops for some of our other West London projects.
