Imperial College London
Imperial College London’s Estates health and safety team has developed an excellent working relationship with Park over the last year. We have consistently found them to be a highly competent and proactive service provider, that has worked closely with the College to add significant value in promoting a positive health and safety culture across our capital projects. Examples include:
- the development and delivery of a one-day course held at the College, to drive improvements in the quality of communication by site supervisors when managing operatives on site.
- implementation of a programme of events to promote health and well-being awareness amongst contractors’ operatives, who are offered ‘Health MOT’s’ at the College’s main campus through a visiting occupational health nurse, as well as other health awareness programmes.
I consider that Park has provided first-class health and safety-related advice and services to the College, and our working relationship with them is founded on a strong partnering ethos. We look forward to continuing this working relationship in the future, as the construction industry continues to focus upon cultural improvements in relation to ‘health’ aspects affecting the construction industry.
