A major part of the health and safety success achieved during the design and build of the London 2012 Olympic Park was the innovative support, willingness and enthusiastic professionalism provided by the Park occupational hygienist support team. I personally found the occupational hygienists, Melodie Gilbert, Eric Ball and James Barnes as individuals who showed exemplary professionalism providing solutions to challenging occupational health risks. This support undoubtedly contributed significantly to the prevention of ill-health of many staff and workers during the Olympic Park construction. I would certainly recommend the services of the Park Health and Safety Partnership Occupational Hygiene Team to aid the prevention of ill-health in the workplace.
